Organization for Collective Administration of Performing Rights, abbreviated Organization PI, under Copyright Law of Serbia and collective management license, is authorized to perform the following:
  1. collection and distribution of performer's remuneration for broadcasting and communication to the public of performances from the published phonograms;
  2. collection and distribution of performer's remuneration for making available to the public of performances, by wired or wireless means;
  3. collection and distribution of performer's remuneration for rental of the performance;
  4. collection and distribution of performer's remuneration for private copying; and
  5.  to provide protection for foreign holders of performers and ensure protection of Serbian performers’ abroad by concluding bilateral agreements with foreign CMOs.
Founders of Organization PI are societies/unions of performers that represent majority of performing artists in Serbia (including but not limited to singers, classical instrumental players, musicians, dancers). These are:
  1. Union of Musical Societies of Vojvodina;
  2. Musical Workers’ Society of Serbia;
  3. Jazz, Pop, and Rock Musicians’ Society of Serbia;
  4. Ballet Society of Serbia;
  5. Pop and Traditional Musicians’ Society “CUBURA”;
  6. Society for Fostering and Preservation of Traditional Music of People of Serbia “KORENI”; 
  7. Society “Estrada Melos”, and
  8. Orchestral Musicians’ Society of Serbia.
Organization PI represents nearly 10,000 artists-performers, excluding actors who are represented through separate organization.

To provide Organization PI with legal expert, technical and other required assistance, Organization PI concluded a strategic exclusive agreement with JAA – Serbian Authors Agency (http://www.autorskaagencija.com/eng/), a company experienced in the field of copyright and related rights protection.

During the First Session of Organization PI Assembly in June 2007, Organization PI adopted its Statute, and authorized bodies responsible for organization management, supervision, and drafting of important documents (Managing Board; Supervisory Board; and committees for various tasks)

On the second session of the Assembly in June 2008, Distribution Rules Act was approved.

At this time collection and distribution of remuneration from radio and TV users is paralyzed due to ongoing dispute with phonogram producers CMO pending resolution before IP Office or court of law.

Collection of private copy remuneration has successfully started in January 2009.

Collection of remuneration for making available of the performances to the public by wired and/or wireless means (i.e. internet, ring tones and similar) is in the initial phase. Full agreement and implementation is expected soon.
